Our house
Dating from 1872, it took 16 years for this house to be completed. The first owners lived on the 1st floor of the barn with the animals on the ground floor. It is 250 m2 on the ground and its date of completion is uncertain. We saw an old marble sink upstairs. Our barn is part of the expansion planned for the future to accommodate larger groups.
For now, we can allow the motorbikes to park under shelter and we have a small secure bike lock.
Built with Arudy marble in several places, you will find original parquet floors upstairs and fireplaces in bedrooms 1, 2 and 3.
We had the pleasure of keeping the old furniture and retrieving documentation about its successive owners.
The family who lived here have many interesting artefacts; for instance Agricultural medals and medals of war for being part of the resistance, old papers and letters, we strive to reconstruct the past of this house. Nowadays, we want to make a vegetable plot of 600m2 to serve at our table d'hôtes.
We keep tools for motorbikes and bikes at your disposal. 3 free car parks at <25m.
